I have the Optima red top in my Mazda3. Got it from Costco for under $100

Yeah Costco is definatly the best place to get any Optima bettery. If I remember correctly, the red top is a good allaround battery, but if you have lots of audio equipment, you need to use either the yellow or blue tops.

You'll pay a little more but Autozone carries them, too.
I think you can go to Optima's web site and look up retailers.

yellow top = prolonged use with KEY OFF, not really a primary battery, good for back-up battery use.

red top = Primary battery, still has good KEY OFF use time, but used primarily as the main battery

blue top = marine battery, no very common in car audio, but would probably be good as a back-up system. The Yellow or Red tops do just fine.
