obd 2 code p0170

Does anyone know what the P0170 code- FUEL TRIM MALFUNCTION(BANK 1) refers to?
I am currently getting that code and can't find out if it is refering to the O2 sensors, the MAF sensor, or anything else in the fuel system.

I think everyone has seen this code with a protege. That or "PCM TOO RICH-BANK 1"
