will an engine damper for a mazdaspeed protege fit in my 99 Protege? my mechanic suggested i should get one, so I've been looking, but all i can find is the one for a mazdaspeed.

do you mean motor mounts? or the recently released WR engine damper?

the engine damper, i have never heard of one so i'm alittle lost on the subject, but this is what i'm looking at.....

it will work, the motors are the same and the struts are mounted in the same postions right? well as far as I know they are so I dont see how it could not work

How is the cruise control mounted on the protege sedans? That's the only difference I can think of.

umm yeah I cant say that I remember what it looks like, maybe there is a reason its only marketed for the MSP

It won't be as "Solid" as a set of AWR Mounts.

we have been looking into the protege and we think that it should fit fine.
same engine and shock mounting.
