Ok this is my situation. I have a CAI, header, cat-less midpipe, msp catback, front motor mount, ordering rear on monday. I am thinking ordering the Sport 20 intake cam next. In regards to performance is that my best bet or is there something better?

If you're going through the trouble of changing cams, might as well do both I & E. IMHO, FI would be a better route as far as "bang for buck" is concerned.

Yes of course F/I is the best way to go but I dont have the cash for a motor and a kit.

Don't waste money on cams, save it for your F/I fund. I've yet to read about anyone extremely pleased over the performance gains from a cam swap. The only hard data with substance so far are with the Wagner cams. I've had an order open since May for those, I've had one update on status, and have yet to receive them. I hope to report with enthusiasm after I install them, that's if I ever do receive them.

Also, your mid-pipe and cat-back are designed for F/I. At the moment, it's only hurting you (see my post in "mid-pipe made me slower"). Gaining performance and keeping the motor N/A can easily be more costly in the long run.

If you're itching to spend money on mods, work on the suspension and brakes. Oftentimes people overlook keeping a car balanced, only looking at straight line performance and seeking for more power. Even when only taking the 1/4 mile into consideration, gearing, suspension tuning, traction, and weight reduction are key factors frequently ignored in favor of power. Consider other performance modification outside the just the motor. Adding braided steel brake lines was an extremely rewarding effort for me.

If you'd like to tear into the motor, there are thing you can do without having to spend much money. Port matching your intake to the heads for example. The same can be done with the throttle body to the IM. If you're willing to pull the head, get a little Porting and Polishing done. If you attempt to do it yourself, don't hog it out and do plenty of reading beforehand.
