Everyone that has Eibachs seems to like them. Basically you can't go wrong with the top lowering springs (ie: Eibach, Tein, HR, Espliers). Just depends on how much drop you want, and how you want the car to handle.

I've got almost 25k on my Eibachs with stock struts and have had no problems at all.
They've been great.

what on the protege isnt adjustable caster or camber or do you just have to get a camber plate after you lower it so you can adjust it

if you go to this thread http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=118398 you will see how a lot of people praise Espelir springs. those are what i am going with, plus tokico illuminas.

I will tell you if your doing it for the drop then go with eibacks or other. if you want the best perfomance get the stock MSP springs. the handled way better than my eibach's did.

is the caster and camber adjustable on the 2000 protege without buying a kit to adjust the camber

I can totally recommend the Espelir Springs. nice drop, and a front linear rear progressive set-up is the ultimate combination for improved handling. They aren't floaty at all like the Eibach kits are (which are progressive for both front and rear)

The one caveat with the Espelirs is on the Mazdaspeed you need to replace the rear struts if you don't want your car to have a raked look to it at the same time you do your springs. However if you have a standard protege I would recommend doing struts at the same time anyways as your factory struts will have their life shortened by a dramatic amount with lowering springs.
