what is the best stuff to use to paint the engine cover on the mp3? Any suggestions will help, thnx.

im guessin you should use some high temp paint.. just cuz its on top of the valve cover.... or i could be wrong..

i used 500 degree engine paint (engine enamel by dupli-color) on mine, i just accented the lettering.....turned out good.....i think

i had the strut bar powder coated black and i had a buddy of mine cut me that RacingBeat decal at a local decal shop...

masking tape, a sharp knife or box cutter and the paint was around.....$8

not bad, and looks good. im just waiting for the paint on the engine cover to dry then i'll put up pics later.

this is how it looks so far im still trying to decide what color to do the rest, any suggestions?

if your goin to leave it like that, then i think you should paint it yellow to go with the strut bar.

i plan on painting the stut bar either red or black this weekend, or should i paint the other half of the cover yellow?
