I have just bought a set of Illuminas and a set of sportlines for my MSP, that I will be installing in a month or so.
I would like to know if there are any stock suspension pieces that you would recomend changing while doing the install? For example, do I need to change the endlinks, any bushings, bearings.etc?
To those that have installed the Illuminas on the MSP, are there any surprises or is it a straight install?
Lastly, how the hell do you remove the rear deck? :D
Thank you all.

1) No replacement parts needed
2) Straightforward. Remove old struts, remove the topmounts, install topmounts on Illuminas, bolt back in.
3) Fold down the rear seat. Pop out the 5 plastic screws on the front of the deck and 1 on each side panel. Pull the deck up and out, use a lil force :)

Note: location of dots on the front strut towers before you remove them.
NOTE: extend the seat belt all the way and secure it so it won't wind back up before you remove it.
Also, you may want to go to a shop and ask them to loosen your endlink bolts unless you have an impact wrench.. or you like things that are a pain in the ass.
besides that. it's a pretty straight foward swap.

Why do you have to pull the belts, does it get in the way or somthing?
Thanx

PB Blater, an allen wrench and a wrench and you should be fine. Give it a shot before you pay someone to do it.

If it coils up, it won't uncoil...it just locks itself.
