As is bodykit you mean lip kit. Then yeah it should be, just go to the dealership and tell them it is coming off and they should fix it. As in fix it i meanjust put more tape there.

I have to do this aswell, as my rear valence lip thing is coming really loose and looking ugly...bleh, this cheapo plastic would look so good if they only spent like an extra half minute to install it all correctly.

acutally the new install technical makes the car's valene stay in place. I can't take it off anymore. :(

I just fixed my rear lip last weekend. Here is some info. I took it to the dealer and they said they wouldnt fix it because i had scratches, which indicated i hit something and so it wasnt warranty, they wanted $180 to fix it, jerks.
Anyway,

1. definitely order the tape (i used 3M tape number 06383) its wider than you need, but also stronger. I also used the 3M adhesion promoter, which you likely dont need, but is very sticky, i managed to stick my fingers together after applying it (3M part #06396)

2. remove the rear lip, two push attachments in the rear wheel wells and two screws near the center rear of the lip, which also hold in the bumper. so, if your going to be driving around without the lip on , put the two screws back in anyway.

3. remove as much tape as you can from both the bumper and the lip, i just carefully pulled and rubbed it off, the stock stuff was easy to get off.

4. when ready to put the lip back on, tear open the pack of adhesion promoter and dont touch the sponge inside like i did, use the package to protect your fingers and apply to the lip and bumper where the tape will go.

5. use a single strip of tape, stick it to the bumper lip where the old tape was, dont remove the double-sided plastic covering on the other side yet, but get both ends started

6. line up the bumper lip on the bumber with the holes and attach, make sure you have access to the double sided plastic when attaching. After its attached hold the lip where you want it and peel off the double sided plastic while pushing the lip on.

Hey, I have 23 packets of ahesion promoter left ( i only used 2 and got a pack of 25, so if anyone is interested , i can send em your way, for a small fee of course.
I also have some, not sure how much of the double sided tape that i am also willing to send out. It may be enough for 2 or 3 lips but since im not about to peel it off and measure it (its on a roll) first interested party takes it.

lets say $1 for a pack of adhesion promoter (it was expensive for me too),
and $20 for the rest of the tape.

hope this helps, and if your interested, in the sales, lemme know. I am off until monday, so be patient....
