i just got a vibrant exhaust muffler and it sounds great, my mechanic buddy ( who installed it) said it will sound better with the other ressanator in....so in other words it isnt a full cat-back exhaust ....but i want to make it louder and get a better flow of air....any ideas?

Should i get rid of the ressanator removed, so its a full cat-back and replace it with straight pipe or no?

wait confused here.... you said you just got the muffler not the full cat back... the full cat back would include 3 pieces the muffler, the high flow catalytic converter and the ressonator is in the same pipe length, and the exit pipe... should look something like this...
