Thanks for not listening.
Just a few things about doing the MSP bumper conversion, since i've covered this a few times.
You need more than just the front bumper to make this conversion work. Depending on which bumper look you want (either the 2003 with the fogs, similar to the P5 but w/o sidemarkers) or the 2003.5/.7 (special lip on bottom, no fogs) Most of the parts involved are the same, but the main difference is the lip for the latter which must be ordered, or the fogs for the 2003 model. In addition to the front bumper, you will also need the front bumper reinforcement, new inner fenders, new upper grille (with flying M),and a small assortment of nuts/bolts/fasteners. Dealership will charge you about 1800 bucks for everything you need, including the fogs or lip whichever you choose. It's a good bit of work but looks awesome when its done, and totally worth the money IMHO.
If you have any questions on parts, installation, etc., feel free to PM me or IM me on AIM, I'd be more than happy to help.

No it's not. The mazdaspeed/MP3 bumper doesn't have sidemarkers.

it looks like basically the same thing to, U can add the sidemarkers i believe if you want to. I believe the reinforcement might be a bit different.

reinforcement bar is different. On p5/mp3/msp its the same. On dx/lx/es its the same, but if you want a convertion, you WILL need a reinforcement bar from either p5/mp3/msp

you can always cut the reinforcement like i did too to make it fit.

I believe wings west made a front bumper for the es,lx,dx models. It has the mazdaspeed look to it.

Not for the wings west bumper. Wings west made two versions of there front bumper, one to fit the msp,mp3 and p5. Made another version to fit the es,lx,dx. Both versions look the same, just that each one are made to fit the different reinforcement bars.

the WW bumper is fiberglass though, urethane is your friend, abs plastic is just as good. the stock mp5/mp3/msp front bumper is abs plastic.
