putting in a new stereo

i'm probably gunna borrow my friends stereo for a while because he's between cars. but how do i get the stock one out? it's a '99 1.6 if that makes a difference.

you pry off the cover on the side to expose the holes like in the picture. You can buy the mazda removal key. Or you can ghetto make them with a metal coat hanger. Thats what i did. Two U shape ones on each side, stick them into the holes and pull the radio out.
