Sometimes when I lock the car via the key fob, the locks do this weird thing. The lock, unlock and then lock again all very quickly. Seems like it doesn't happen everytime. I'm not too worried about it, just curious if other's do this too cause it seems strange.

I'm thinking maybe it has to do with the wire I cut to the security module, so I can arm while the turbo timer is running the engine.

Did you get the Alarm System warranty repair on the 03 Speed? Mine did some funky things till I had it done!

Never heard of it. Repair for what?
They probably won't honor my warranty anyways.

Let's say he takes it to the dealership and c/o the problem listed above. I believe the dealership's response would be "sir, we failed to see any problems with your alarm. They all respond in a similar fashion."

I cut that wire in the rear also & have the alarm wired for TT use but I never have this happen...

I'm not going to bother taking it to the dealership really, it still locks fine, just has a funny way of going about it.

The keyless entry system does something similar to this when you're programming your remote. If anyone's ever done it, they know what I'm talking about. Once you do the door open/close, and press your remote to sync it w/ the module, the locks will cycle 1.5 times, i.e. unlock, lock, then unlock again, or vice versa, depending on whick button you press. If you press lock, it'll lock, unlock, then lock. I'm mentioning this only because this is the only other circumstance of which I know where the locks do this. Maybe something's resetting itself in the keyless entry module.
