under the center, ahead of the console - what's in there?
do we have space to put at least a 6" woofer and box?
could an 8" fit in there?
or is it packed with wiring/supports?
i haven't popped it open yet to know

yeah, and, crap
mkay, what about in the dash, behind the vents in the center between the vents and the windshield?
any space in there to cut a hole for a speaker? (thinking center channel here, bass down front, but that's out w/this new info) i've seen small LCD displays added in, but those stick up, not so much IN to the dash

ya it is packed with wiring/brackets... their isn't much room behind the vents at all....more brackets..... i dont think their is room anywhere up front to hide a sub

but is there at least 3" deep space to put a 5 1/4" speaker in there?
gotta have center channel..
ok, no sub up front other than the 6's i'll put in the doors, and of course the 5 1/4's in custom kicks, plus replace the tweets (3way component system)
no problem
an 8" woofer in each rear door (i gots a hatch) and a pair of 12's in a box in the hatch area, to become 'glassed into the spare tire well later on
yeah, about 2400w RMS @ 4ohm, but dropped to 2ohm all around except the bass which will be 1 ohm
probably use less gas if i open the hatch and let the bass waves push me... lol

i personally would not try to squeeze a speaker of any kind in there. i have ripped that section apart thoroughly for my own install.
keep in mind in japan, these bodies were used for all-wheel drive cars, so the center "hump" in the body is still there for where the drive shaft would have gone, its not flat.

center channels are pointless anyways...no matter how good they are it will end up blowing at some point.... Def not worth the effort...
