Best? They all pretty much do the same thing. There are some newer kits that have electronic boxes, such as A'PEXi.

I've had the Sun Automobile kit on my car for about a year now. That along w/ the voltage regulator kit.

so what all does this kit really do for your car? is it really even worth doing?

Increases grounding points for the engine. In theory this relieves power.
