I just tried locking the car by arming the alarm system and the lights stay on when they're done blinking! Any suggestions??? Never done this before...

Try un-hooking the Neg battery terminal for 15 mins to reset the computer.

Dealer. Mine did the same thing, they will replace the brain under warr. Its a bitch ain't it???

Bradc, what do you mean by brain? Alarm computer? And yes, it's a bitch! My MSP feels naked without the alarm sys. on.

I have an extra brain as well... but yes it is more than likely that. Reset the brain and ECU by unhooking the neg battery terminal for 10minutes and hitting the brakes to drain the remainder. If it still happens, take it to the dealer.
