I went down to CP Racing to get a quote on installing my turbo and they quoted me $1000 for install of kit and ems plus $300 to tune.

Does that sound reasonable?

Thanks

wow, then I should start installing turbo kits... cause it can be done in roughly 6-8 hours if you have the tools I have at work.

as for being resonable, I guess thats relative to where you live and your mechanical aptitude and experience. if I were you I'd just get the help of a competant friend and pay him a small portion of that or a couple cases of beer.

i was going to, but one of our other locations is super shorthanded so i've been working close to 13 days straight at a time. and then i have a part time job that i work every sunday so it takes up that day. but i found a guy that is gonna do it for around $400 or so. but tomorrow is actually my day off so the car is at his shop and i'm gonna go wire up the ems and help him install some of it. so in a sense i'm still gonna do it.

a guy do it for $400?

let the men at MAM do it.

either you save $100, or regret your choice when you find out he fucked it up.

um well there is a small problem and that would be getting my car from charlotte, north carolina to arizona. that's not really an over night trip. plus the guy doing is very reputible. he's been in the area for years and was one of the first speed shops to start working on imports.
