How do I get to the back of my audio system?

I want to get to the back of my 2001 Mazda Protege DX audio system, but I dont know how to pull off the exterior around it. Anyone know how to pull it off so I can get to the back of it to hook up my mp3 player to it?

just go to the back seats, fold them down, then you will see clips on the plastic that covers the speakers. Pop the clips (pull on the whole plastic piece from bottom. It should pop out fairly easy. That should be it, speakers will be revealed after you do that.

I believe he's trying to get to the back of the headunit, not the rear deck.

To hook up an mp3 player to the stock headunit, you either have to buy the AUX input(http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58263) or get a FM modulator

To get to the headunit you have to remove the glove box(squeeze the top), and reach behind the dash and push in the tab.. then do the same on the other side..
There's a pic somewhere on the forum *hint* of headunit removal tools that you can make out of a coat hanger.
