I will be getting a Mazda 3 soon. Where did you get your Mazda, and how was the service?

Brad - If you can - try to come out to the meet on Saturday Sept 3rd. There is a sticky post about it. First Saturday of each month at the Ale House in North Raleigh.

Brad,

I bought my 3 from Southern States Mazda in Raleigh. Capital pretty much did nothing to help me find the color and options I wanted. SS brought my car down from VA and it was exactly as I wanted. Since the purchase date, I have had excellent service at the service department as well as the body shop. I was not a big fan of SS Nissan, but SS Mazda seems to be retaining some of the good things that people liked back when it was Al Smith Mazda. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I don't know if I am going to be able to get one now...with gas prices as they are I am considering a civic hybrid now.

Gas isn't too bad for the 3. I have a 5spd hatch and with fairly aggressive driving, routinely see 26-28 around town and upwards of 31 on the highway. I do have a AEM CAI and aftermarket exhaust and neither have been detrimental to my mileage.

I'm gonna test drive a couple different cars and see what I want.
