New Protege Lover

I bought my White 2000 DX a couple days ago and thought I would introduce myself. I really enjoy the car, its good on gas and a smooth ride. Ive been lookin around the forums and I kinda have some plans for it.
1. I would like to do the black painted headlights mod. (I cant seem to find a working link for the How To.)

2. I also am trying to find a front lip/spoiler but the only ones ive found are for the 01+ models.

Some other things i would like to do in the future are maybe a set of nice wheels/tires and some lowering springs. Also a cat-back exhaust of some sort(dunno).

Any good Protege Site links would be great. Thnx

Welcome to the fourms. The Protege is a great car, and better yet it isn't seen on every street corner.
1. Do a search for the 'painted headlights' mod. It has been done lots before. I'm sure if you can't find out any info that way, that someone will help you out.
2. Good luck finding a front lip for the 99-00 models. I don't think there is one that fits unless you go the custom route. Your best bet is to save up for a Sport 20 or a Mazdaspeed (99-00 model) front bumper from corksport.
