My wife and I thought this was pretty funny:
Our Mazda5's window sticker says that it was made "95% in Japan, 0% in the US, and 0% in Europe". So, is 5% of our car missing?

No. It's actually because of the metric system. That 5% is actually there, they just lost it inthe conversion. If you look at a Canadian sticker it should say 100% Japan (lol2)

When in doubt ... blame Canada. :)

LOL, that's pretty messed up.
MSP gas tank doors say:
"Premium Fuel Only
Super Unique"
I always thought that was funny.

The reason for missing the final 5% is if parts content from a country is under a certain percentage, then it's insignificant and can be omitted. Otherwise these lists would be some 10+ countries long, so they just list the major sources.
But as an FYI, the remaining 5% for the Mazda5 come from various Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, and a few others.
And for Canadians who may be wondering why they haven't seen these labels at dealership lots, Canada does not require parts content labels.

5% of the parts come from Haliburton or the Bin Laden Group. [/Michael Moore or Cynthia McKinney]
