Has anyone out there with a protege cut the plastic screen out of their Mass Airflow Sensor? I was wondering if it is worth more power. I know in a Mustang and a Camaro, I helps to remove the screen. Just wondering if this will help on my Protege. Just trying to squeeze as much free horsepower, that's all.:)

I was thinking about it the other day when I had mine apart to polish my intake tube to get the salt stains off of it. Anyway yeah I think that would work. it has no purpose, I would just be carefull about it cause you don't won't to disturb the actual sensor.

Hey man, I noticed you had the FS-ZE cams (from corksport i assume) did you notice a major difference or was it not worth it- I was also looking at the intake manifold they have- just curious, but don't want to throw away money:confused:

As far as the cams go, I love them. I first just had the intake and it made a notcible difference but with the intake and exhaust you will deffinetly notic a big difference. I love them. I deffinetly am happy with the cams. So far from my experience anyone who actually has the cams loves them. Their is another post I on the cams here.
