what up,
got a 94 protege dx sohc ( bone stock)
got a complete tune up car drove excellent
got oil changed about 2 weeks ago,
drove the car home fine, went to go back out, started the car it ran for about 5sec and then shut off. so i figured since the car hasn't had a new air filter since Regan was president, when i changed the air filter it shocked the mass air flow sensor, so i changed that ( mass air flow sensor)
when i changed that, the car still did not start so i asked the mechanic that changed my oil what the hell he did when he changed my oil
he told me to make sure the ignition was off and pump the throttle 3 times and she should start
she did start but about 5 days later i went to start her up and she did the 5sec run and shut down thing again
SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!! DOES THE ECU NEED TO BE RESET??
HOW DO YOU RESET THE ECU!!!! THANX
