Need an amp

I have two 12" Alpine Type-E subs and i need an amp with enough power so they both sound clean. It needs atleast 250 watts each and i was wanting to know what everybody recommends.

Anything in the 500-600 watt rms range. Check out eBay for some decent deals (watch out for "too good to be true" deals. Expect to spend at least 200-300 for a used 600wrms amp) or someplace like Crutchfield if you want new and a warranty. Be careful to match the total impedance of the subs to whatever amp you choose.

Just a little warning though. Using large amp(s) will require a large amount of current (about 75A for 600Wrms) and may shorten the life of the alternator and may void its warranty. Of course this applies to any car...
