my car is currently in the body shop due to a recent accident....they are going to repaint the trunk. my question is: should i debadge the trunk (remove the 'flying v', mazdaspeed badge and my 'turbo' badge)? anyone have pics of this?

I'm sure there's some pics floating around. If I ever had the chance I'd shave everything but the mazdaspeed badges

I'd say get rid of just the turbo badge.

get rid of everything. i did it to my wagon when i had the chance. If you ever want the badges again just shave down the pins and tape em on.

check the photo/video thread i made about a year ago and someone photoshopped it for me. I did and just filled it in w/ 3 M tape and painted it w/ touchup paint. I think it looks really clean.

yea well the body shop said it would be too much work for them to shave my trunk so looks like im gonna have to either 1) leave it as is or 2) do it myself (which im not sure how it would look) so ill have to come up with another option...i really like to clean look!

here is the pchop thread: http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53443

I'd post pics, but I haven't taken any pics since I actually debadged it as per the how-to in the "how to" forum.
