TWM Shortie + stock boot/knob?

I'm seriously considering a TWM Short Shifter for my 3. Anyone out there know if TWM uses a custom configuration for the knob or if my stock boot/knob will work on the new shifter?

The TWM stick is threaded exactly the same as the factory stick, so knobs for both are interchangable. From what I hear, the stock boot also fits, but bunches up a little due to the fact that the TWM stick is shorter than stock.

If you do decide to get the TWM stick, I'd go with the one with the factory style bend in it. This will make it look a little more like the stock stick when it's in neutral.
