When I turn my engine on in the morning its making this weird noise like something is rattling. People have told me its the valves sticking but I dunno. I have a hiboost fmic, cai, ebc, tt & all kinds of other stuff. My local dealership are assholes but there is one around my house that is the same service shop as dodge. Should I take it to that one? What do you guys think it could be?

Is it only when it is starting?
Or is it rattling when you are driving the car (especially at higher loads in higher rpms)?

I cant hear it when I'm driving. The only time I hear it is when the car is at a stop & a when I turn it on in the morning..

Does it only happen for a second when you are starting it, or can you hear it whenever you are stopped/idling?
How loud is it?

It's just your valves making noise until oil gets to them. It's no biggie.

ok i am pretty sure its not a lack of oil to the valves. Your motor should not loose the oil off the valves over night. That should take a week or more. If you drive it daily then you should be fine. I mean there will be less oil there but there should be enough for them not to stick. And it is a biggie if you are loosing the oil that quick or if your valves are sticking like that.

I think this was discussed before, if it's only on start up, then it's the VCTS or something like that.

Has it been 3 months with the clicking noise?--> if not check them to make sure they're ok.
