vacuum stuck !!

my voost gauge is only reading -8 psi of vaccum and I am getting a code code of fuel to lean has any one else had this problem.. I did do any thing to my car new

I am also having problem shifting in to reverse and 5th gear??? it kinda sucks but I don't really push my car that much for this stuff to happen

Since you have a low vacuum reading, I would check for a vacuum leak

Probably a vacuum leak like jersey_emt said. Are you stalling, do rpms stay steady at idle? Since you are throwing a cel for running lean, your car is probably retarding the hell out of timing, which will definitely slow your car down. Are you still using the stock vacuum lines? If so, you will probably want to change them out for high quality silicone. The stock lines tend to become brittle and crack. Make sure to use zip ties everywhere to help prevent leaks, most of the facory stuff is glued.

Also, get this taken care of ASAP, and do not drive it much. If you are running lean, you are in danger of popping your motor. If you go to the dealer, take it in as stock as possible.
