Well pics would be nice.
What BOV was it
What is your engine setup
Where did you tap your vac source
What sound does it make and how does the car run

We cannot help you unless you give us every detail about your setup and your problem. You could have tapped a bad vac source (but you probably used the stock vac source), you could have put the valve in backwards if it is a recirculating valve, then put the stock valve in backwards too, just give us more information.

I had it attached to the top ic pipe and used the vac line that was on the stock bpv. Also make sure to replace the stock vac lines, because they end up falling apart.

you may have a vacuum leak somewhere... or your bov is leaking. is it stalling at idle? or when you're driving and you press the clutch all the way in?

if you are venting to the atmosphere our car will drop in rpms like that since you are blowing off metered air. There are 2 fixes, relocate your maf to the IC to TB pipe which will require a set of custom hardpipes(i was going to make them but there is no market), or try the dual forge / stock BPV setup that i made a thread about a couple months ago.

i think im gonna go to ace hardware and try to make a new vac line. its venting to the atmosphere and its only stalled once but its really scary cause it goes like all the way downb to almost 0 when i go from like high 4 and high 5 gear and push in the clutch. are the vac lines easy to install

Vac lines are easy.

1. Buy a long roll of Vacuum Line
2. Measure out the lengths of all your existing lines.
3. Cut the new line in equal measurements.
4. Pull off all the stock lines.
5. Connect the new lines.
6. Enjoy!
