BP valve cover?

I'm a Miata owner looking to switch my BP engine valve cover to one like I saw in this picture of a BP Escort valve cover:

I have heard that some BP Proteges came with this same design valve cover, but without the oval Ford logo.

Can anyone confirm for me if this is so?

that is the valve cover from the 1st gen bp and bpt etc. 90-94 in the states, 89-93 in japan and here in nz

Here's the BP valvecover from the 90-94 Protege...exact same thing, except with Mazda rather than an ellipse

The protege DX and SE came with a B8 (1.8 SOHC)
