what do i have to do. i mean i figured the basics, but how do i move the coolant? my brother said i probably have to drain it? and i havent looked too much into it but how do i get the filter in that hole. actually just a how-to would be awesome. thanks.

the filter peice needs to go in from the bottom & the CAI should have come w/ a mount to relocate the resevior. no need to drain it, just pick it up & move it, theres a rubber hose connecting it & its flexible..

bought it used from a member on the board. i dont believe he sent me a bracket? all i got was the 2 pipes, some clamps, the filter, hose clamps, and a rubber plug looking thing. am i missing something? thats everything i got. any help is greatly appreciated.

hmmm well I have an injen & it came w/ a bracket to relocate the resevior. Im pretty sure the AEM would have had the same because theres no way to get around it...looks to me that they left out a peice

I have the injen too, but I didn't get a bracket with it. Correct me if I am wrong, but don't you use the exising bracket that the coolant bottle is on? I remember having to bend the part of the bracket that is at a 90 degree angle. You just have to make it flat so that you can swivel the bracket to the side. I believe there is an existing hole there to bolt it to.

just loosen the two bolts holding the coolant bottle. injen instructions required me to drill one hole into the bracket so that it could be relocated properly. it came with washers and a nut to screw into place.

No.w/ the AEM you don't have to drill anything. You use the existing bracket that the coolant is on. You just have to unscrew the 2 bolts holding it and move it somewhere else. No need for drilling.

thanks for all the replies. now my next question is what do i do with all the things that are plugged into the intake. the only one i know what to do with is the recirculatory hose. there are 2 other electrical plugs (i think) and a hose going into the valve cover. thanks.

THere should be a little nipple coming of the intake and you run the hose from the valve cover to the nipple. There should be hole with a gromment on the intake and 1 of the electrical plugs should fit in it. Is the other plug the one that plugs into the MAF sensor?
