The lines are so clean on this car. I may have to think about trading the p5.

I can't see how you like it. I think Mazda could have done a lot better than that.

good photo album on autoweek:

My wife and I aren't in love with the new style....it looks a little fat/wide in the pictures. I was hoping for something more curvy.
All of the articles I have read so far say it is a PERFECT drivers car. And it is a lot lighter than the Pontiac Solstice.
Can't wait to see one in person...

Things I HATE:
the Altezza-like tail lamps (easily changed)
all the buttons and crap on the streering wheel kinda kills the sports car vibe for me-- what is this a 1985 300ZX??
prefer the 16" wheels over the 17 inchers-- see above. 17s look like you're rollin' on dubs in a car this small. Wonder how the 16s would look on my Protege. :)
Otherwise I likey. Makes we want to get a second job to make the payments.
Wood.

Mmmmmm me too. Haven't had such the horn for a car (attainable) in a long time. Never was crazy about the NB.
The tails are tacky but easily changed.... otherwise I love it. I'd debadge the trunk as well. Just read that the base models don't have the stupid buttons on the wheel as well. (hump) Gimme gimme gimme the lightest base model with the smaller wheels and the least options and I'll go from there!

OOOh oooh!!
Club Sport is for me! Jebus what the hell more do you need??
Miata will be available in five different trims: Club Spec, MX-5, Touring, Sport and Grand Touring. Priced at just under $21,000 (including destination charge), the Club Sport is still well equipped, featuring anti-lock brakes, 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows, front and side airbags and a 4-speaker AM/FM/CD sound system.

I forgot to tell ya'll about this the last week. I've already built/priced all of the variations I am interested in. You can build online plus download the options and prices from this site:

One thing that is bugging me is you can't get the LSD with anything less than the Sport model. Is the LSD a required feature for a Miata?
Thanks for the supplemental pictures SilverBulletES!

I hated it at first, but it is growing on me. I will definitely test drive it!

you know, i'm just waiting for the NC to show up so the dealers will start really discounting the MSM so I can pick one up to play with ;)
