Im installing the kartboy shifter bushings on my car....I dontknow how to get out the stock rubber bushings. Its one piece and you can't just pull out the sides because there are lips on either end. How do I do this? My cars on ramps right now...Any info is good.

Thanks

Ok I got the stock rubber bushing out and hooked everything back up. It says to torque to 20ftlbs. But you can only turn the nut so much and then the washer starts to turn. Thats gotta be good enough??

just tighten it snug, you dont want that shit to untighten, as if it will, you will be screwed with having car stuck in gear, until you get back under the car and tighten it. I tightened mine as hard as I could.

Also, I didnt push my stock bushing out, I just cut it out.

Alright I just tightened it until I felt it was pretty snug. Also I was able to just push the old bushing out, took a couple of mins tho.

Thanks for the help :)

Stuck in gear? It's not that linkage.

if thats disconected, you'd have same effect as the shifter linkage
