Squeaky Brakes

I have the carbotec bobcats and I have more than half of the pad remaining. They squeak every time I brake, fast or slow. Does anyone else have this problem? If so how did you cure it?

Actually yes. Mine started sometime in june and has gotten worse. Even driving on the highway i can hear it squealing while i drive. Thats w/o pressing my brakes. I think the best to do is just get new pads. When ours get to a point, theres a metal piece that starts to scrach and thats what we hear. its annoying when you cruise and its ruined my the noise.

brake dust? Sometimes that makes the brakes squeak a bit, but I my XP8s squeak because they are good for track work, but I'm not sure why the Bobcats (which are good for street) squeak.

I occasionally hear squeaks from my brakes during the coarse of a day. I have brembo slotted/cross drilled rotors and axis metalmaster pads. I checked and i still have alot of pad left. I only have had this brake setup for 5-6 thousand miles. What could be the cause?
