Get an allignment if you have one tire wearing fast...
+/- toe will make a tire disappear faster than you think

Get better tires anyway, goodyears blow the big one.

We need more information. Why did you replace one tire four times? Where was it located on the car?
Kumho ecsta's from tirerack. SOOO MUCH BETTER! and super cheap.

yes they are, just put them on (18") last night and they are f-ing sweet.
no considerable noise increase, and a very considerable increase in grip. good handling and super cheap @ tirerack.

ok...thanks for the info....Ok the first tire was hitting a bump in the road...not even bigger then a speed bump and I was doing 40. The second time I hit a pothole and brought the tire to get checked out and they said it was fine then 3 days later it was flat and they said it was no good. both of those times it was my front passenger side. The third time i hit a pothole and the tires were rotated so now it was my rear passenger side and I blew a hole in it<- I guess it was my fault (pissed). And now making it my fourth time a nail was in my tire the morons plugged it and it was no good. I hate low-profile tires.
I have bad luck I guess...not to mention my windshield (cryhard)
yeah i busted one of the goodyears on a pothole too. Now I pay more attention to the road :-)

Damn...I've got 28,500 on mine and I'll probably be able to get another 5-10K out of them (hopefully).

hmmmm
alright then. i'll take it i guess but i dont see how they put different tires on their vehicles.
what year/month was yours built?

12/03
The dealer might have changed yours out for some reason. Who knows?

mine is 03/04
maybe the year makesa difference. The dealer def didnt change it. The paperwork fro the car has a booklet specifying warranty details fro the cooper tires and it has the mazda logos all over the place, so i know it came that way straight from the manufacturer.

Must have just gotten lucky, then. Mine came with brochures for Goodyear and Toyo, for sure. There might have even been a Cooper brochure in there, too. I have no idea what the determining factor was. Maybe geographic location. Since you're up in VT, maybe the Coopers were a better snow tire. (dunno)

everyone I know
got
Goodyear RS-As for 17''
and Toyos for 16''.
and the RS-As do suck ass.
1010tires has good reviews on tires.
and the RS-As rating is a 2 if i remember right.

the factory tires applies to canada, not sure about US.
but we got plenty of snow and (fu) RS-As for snow use
rsa's suxors in the snow at initial traction, once youre up to speed they are ok.
