Rare Eclipse

ok ok ok i kno this is a Mazda forum and I am a loyal Mazda advocate...but this is for my boy who just went to Iraq and asked me to do this for him. So here it is a "yellow" 98 Eclipse GS. The only mod is a HP Racing Exhaust. It has a custom yellow paint job, white gauges faces(never been used), new water pump, all new belts and timing belt, and he only used synthetic oill every 3 thousand miles. He also only used 93 octane gas. The car has 110,xxx highway miles and runs perfectly. He maintaned the car personally and always kept it in the garage. The dents came from when his drunk cousin, who stole his car and decided to take the scenic way home. Dont let the dent scare you away because it is easily fixed and the car really is worth every penny you will pay. Local buyers are preffered but will meet a buyer within a resonable distance. I didn't realize Maaco paint jobs made cars rare. I'm not trying to flame you, but that's a fact. GS's didn't come in yellow. The cars original color is purple and the car was resprayed. Check out the over spray on the hood prop.

also im just goign to go out on a limb here and say that more than likely you cant sell it for him unless he left you a power of attorney. i know these things because everytime i have to go somewhere i need to do one as well.

6 grand??? 98 gs not in mint condition with over 100k...

is your friend on crack? look im all for helping people sell cars and playin them up but thats absurd im the only mazda in my group the rest are dsm's

the 98 esi talon we sold was like.. 4500 and was perfect with 80thousand on the clock

also yeah you might have more success if you edit the title and don't say its rare..not trying to flame but its not a rare car just a regular old eclipse gs with a neon motor nothing special about it and yeah price is way to high change those 2 things and it might sell

The kbb price I found was $4600 and thats not figuring in the $1000+ in damage on it.

People are flaming because you're asking an unrealistic price and they don't want to see someone suckered into buying it for that much.
