Hey you Charlotte bruthas!!! What's going on? Guess you all have already forgotten about me huh. ;)

I was thinking of driving down to NOPI in Atlanta for the Sept. 17th show. But... I was going to go to Charlotte and meet up with you guys, and hopefully we could all drive down. My idea was to go a day or two early, and party in Charlotte. Then continue down to Atlanta.

What do you think? Would anyone be interested in going? I still have to hit the "for sure" button, but I'm pretty sure my wifey would want to hang with her friends in Charlotte while I was in Atlanta.

Maybe the whole gang can go!

so its still on folks. i dont think charlotte was on the way last year the way the tour was routed. im guessing itll be done the same way this year with the thurs nite stop being highpoint.

So when does everyone want to meet up and get this thing started? I was thinking about taking that Friday and possibly Monday off. I would like to leave real early Friday morning if possible to get down there and get a hotel etc. and have plenty of time to look at the honeys at the pool. (boobs)

Still waiting to nail some dates and times down with Dave. I am planning to take Friday and Monday off. I hope to leave Friday morning sometime and I'll either come back Sunday evening or most probably come back Monday since Sunday will be fun filled as well (Sunday Monday thing still up in the air).

Update for me... I will be off Friday and actually I worked it out so I can swing by our corporate office in Atlanta on Monday so I don't have to take a vacation day!... hehe.

Update for me... we are closing on the house Aug 25th. So depending how much I'm in the hole, I still wanna go. Unfortunately, I will not be able to buy the tickets til after closing. Hopefully the banana (abuelita) will be fixed by then, and he will go to. What do you think Jeff?

Sweet, I also have some information about hotels in the area as well if anyone would like to contact me. It would be cool if we all crash at the same hotel if possible so we can all hang as a Mazda crew! I was wondering about the show... I know there will not be many MSP's there and if anyone plans to put their car on display at all or what options we have... never been to NOPI before... I come from a Truckin' background from way back... all new to me.

you can show your pro at nopi in 1 of 2 classes. street or custom. its 70 bucks to show. this gets you a 2 day pass for you AND a passenger.
i would love to have a hotel full of mazdas and we can all chill.
you go to the speedway and get in at like 8 or 9 clean your ride (again) and they do the judging on sat. if you sign up now its 70 if you wait too long it goes up to 100. you sign up now and your assured a spot in the brown c section that is for all mazdas. if not they put you in a different area with other cars.

My company is paying for my hotel Sunday night in the Buckhead area (north ATL) if anyone is interested in staying an extra night you can stay there for free. Hurricane Katrina wiped out most of what I used to know back home (Biloxi, Mississippi). Most of my family's properties are in shambles and some of them are going to be coming to my house for an indefinate ammount of time. NOPI for me is not up in the air. I still plan to make it though. Mosre to come...

Hey Jeff, remember that pimp house you stayed in at Troy's? Had 6 ft. of water in it Monday. Most of the coast is demolished, wiped clean... it's unreal.

I AM DEFINATELY GOING. I plan to leave sometime tomorrow, depending on who I can round up to go with me.
