Thanks, when i bought it, it was the only non silver 3 they had (at the time i had a silver mustang, focus, and sunfire in my driveway). White is a tough color to keep up, while silver is the easiest.

Mario, you should get in on our group buy from rockblocker for the rear light and reflector set. Normally it's $64.95, but if we get 5 it's $60 and 10 it's $55. We all ready have 3. I really like it, actually. Had to do some filing on the latch to make it lock properly but now it's good to go.

I just got my 3 sport last week... it's identical to gw...same color, step plate and fuel door. I love the door, but it stains easy. just touching the door will leave a smudge, and it's not easy to get off... still would never get rid of it. I'll post pics soon, just waiting for some nice weather.

Yep... it does... paint looks crazy when clean and under strong light... especially when seen under an angle...

Nice equipment in the car... mine's standard everything (nothing added to whatever was installed in the shop)... Planning to add a cold air intake, and tint the windows a bit, but that's about it... I can't add lotsa stuff, cuz I live downtown Toronto, and my insurance is already too high... Also, a new set of wheels with winter tires is a "must do" investment up here, so there goes another grand...

I bought them from a shop here in town. found them online as a nice low cost wheel that weighed the same as the stock wheels..didnt drop any weight but I didnt gain any either.

Pricing is the tuff part depends on where your shop orderd them from..I think www.miamitireoutlet.com sells the ICW Racing wheels...cant remember where I found them online at for like $106 a wheel..but my tire shop quoted me the same price so I went with them.

I got the grill from Corksport (http://corksport.com/tab0.4/store/category/6ak1/axe-exterior_misc.html) it's a real autoexe grille. I orignally bought the erebuni copy, but it fit so bad I just trashed it a bought the real one. The fit and finish on the auto exe grille was completely perfect.

I got the eyelids from a company called Accolade (http://www.body-kit.com/maz0403eyelids.html).. they are fiberglass pieces, and they are painted. They're held on there with 3M exterior tape.

The grill is actually an Erebuni grill (http://www.erebunicorp.com/accesscustom/maz3.htm), and I got it for $136 US.
(also, if you want, you can find them on ebay for about $50 US.. but I don't know what kind of quality they are)
You should be careful if your'e going to buy this grill, depending on the Mazda 3 model that you have, this grill may not fit. The grill for the 'i' model is different size from the 'S' model. There are two different grills in the market now that will fit both mazda 3 models, so you have to be careful which one you choose.


oh yeah and how did you get your 3rd brake light to display axela?

Oh and the reason my taillights are red is because I have the 2.0L model, which in the States is the 'i' model. The S and the i models have different lights in the back. They're the same dimensions , just look a bit different.

The stock boot just didn't fit right with the sts and the shift knob I had. Plus there are some rubbing issues I need to take care of with the STS.

haha...thanks. The funny thing is that I was wanting a Ti Grey 3 sedan (w/ money in hand). Dealer didn't have any Ti Greys w/ the packages I wanted. Luckily, the dealership said they had a white one w/ that matched what I was looking for w/ only 2 miles on the odometer out back that was just unloaded off the trailer. Without even looking at it, I was like....ewwww white? Took a step out back and basically handed the dealer the check ... that's all that I remember. :)

BC, I have my ashtray blue too. Its really easy, and I did it for free! Everyone is gonna make fun of me, but if you pull out the ashtray, the bulb is just white. the ashtray has a red plastic piece on it. All I did was pop that out and put clear tape over it. Then I just colored the tape with a blue sharpie.....works and it was free

i actually wired in two switches that light up blue when there on (it was a pain to get the wires there) they turn my amp and neons on and off, if you want i'll post a pic of the switches in day light so you can see what i mean and btw i was lookin at lip kits wheres a good place to get one

This picture was the inspiration for me removing the spoiler from my car. (thumb)
I know the spoiler makes it the car a little harder to wash ( I have cursed at it a few times,) and as you've said before GW, it probably has little or no effect on aerodynamics but to me the car looks naked w/o it. I think I'll keep mine right where it is....

no, im the one that sad "crappy 3i". I owned an 04 3S HB for a year and my wife got the 3i she wanted (on a lease). After the baby, I realized the 3 was too small, so I had to trade mine in for a Mazda5 because we had gotten a 4 yr leae with the 3i, which forced me to take over the 3i (I miss my 6cd, moonroof, 2.3L motor, 17 Inch wheels, cool guages, hatchback), thats why I said crappy 3i even though its still a good car.

Though clearly a work in progress I really love the gauge package and wouldn't mind doing VDO or equiv. oil temp and volts on my ride. Where did you get the pod? How hard was it to install the wiring, senders, etc?

Yeah, I'm kinda' likin' this one too. These are actually faced to the driver too instead of being a head on view. 'Makes sense to me!
Now if only I could find all thoseVDO gauges I had from the '80's that I never installed.
BTW, BC3I: If you haven't been to the "other" site recently, I ordered my pedals last night! 'Can't wait to try them out. How much trouble did you have drilling the brake pedal for yours?

Hmmm. Good info SicMade. As you can see, from their picture (from eBay) it seems to fit pretty well. I was just doing a normal eBay search and ran across this. It seemed easier than doing it your way, so I thought perhaps the other members would be interested. And, I hope they do solve the "fit" problem so that it is a better alternative.

I used Canon A620 and a tripod. I got the Xtec 6000K HIDs and it might look bright because of the long exposure. You live around Austin?

3 on the dash are....2 Cobalt Amp Temp Gauges for my system, in the middle of those two is Voltmeter (very Important ). On the left im gonna run Cobalts. A/F Gauge, D. Pic, and Oil Pressure, and i need them b/c my car doesnt come wiht those from the factory
