Woohoo this thing sounds awesome! It's not obnoxious, yet at the same time you know it's there. I've wasted half a tank of gas today driving around just to listen to it.

I know what you mean about the RB sound, I love mine, even with the header installed.

You didn't like the sound of the Mazdaspeed Axle-back exhaust that you had before? What was wrong with it? Too loud? Too ricey?

I have a Mazdaspeed Axle-back that I bought awhile ago and am just waiting to put on after I get my rear lip installed. I read up on the sound of it, and people said that it was a bit loud but not ricey sounding at all. What were your thoughts on it?

Yep - too lound and ricey. But then again, I had the 1.6 back then so it sounded like ass especially with my automatic. At highway speeds the drone got annoying.

Make sure that your header lines up with the mid-pipe properly....I just noticed that mine were off by a couple of degrees causing a leak. I had to get the mid pipe bent to accomadate it.

That's exactly were mine is leaking. The problem is I'm missing one of the nuts, and the only one I had lying around wasn't the correct size. No problem though, I'm getting the test pipe made this week or next.

I ordered mine from racing beat over the phone since their online ordering system is... crude. It got here in only a few days, and although it had to travel less than 100 miles I thought it was quick (rockon)

not very loud at all. Once I get this exhaust leak fixed, i'll get more and better sound clips made.

Put mine on last month. Bought for 300 slightly used from a board member.
The sound owns all. Just perfect.

Not really loud at all-- no droning on freeway. I think it'll still be fine once I pick up a high-flow midpipe.

Still, eBay CAI and OBX header are the best power bangs for your buck.

Yep. I have the generic ebay CAI, OBX header, and now the catbck. There is a noticeable difference in performence. The shop I work at will soon have a dyno, so hopefully I'll be able to get some runs.

Thinking about getting the MAM Testpipe as well...
