Welcome! Take a look at the Florida section. There is a statewide meet in Daytona next month. Would be cool to see you there.

Welcome JOMO. I live in Boca too, right near the West Boca hospital on 441 and Palmetto. I know there used to be meets at the Walgreens right next to Lowe's -- make sure you check out the Florida forum!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I already have done a few things to the car. I have the kartboy shortshifter with bushings, goldline springs, injen cold air intake, mazdaspeed front lip, painted black stock rims. I live on glades and 441, which is right near the hospital. I sold all my old mods to someone on this forum who lives close by. I did have the msp racing harts, obx header, and custom exhaust. The bad thing was I was a magnet for the police around here.

Thanks. I read about all the aftermarket parts and how they performed by members on this forum. Of course I miss the header and exhaust, but I"ll have to deal with it.

Welcome.

Good to see someone that actually takes time to read and learn instead of reposting common questions. (lurk) I was on here a few months before my first post. (cool)

Welcome to the forums. See the fridge in the corner...

I've been thinking of a RB exhaust and SRI. It seems that the header helps get the max gain out of both mods, but the header adds so much noise that you start getting noticed more (thanks Gov. Bush). It's a shame, but what can you do? I'm not sure the exhaust is worth it without the header, from a gains standpoint.

Yeah, i wouldn't get the header agian without the exhaust. And your right the header did make a good difference in performance and sound. After about 4 grand my car was way to loud.

thats why i got rid of my mazda-speed aftermarket axle back.....i have the racing beat off a speed now and it is much quieter.

I did the same switch. The racing beat is the performance exhaust you can live with.

Yeah, I deliberately got the RB catback so I wouldn't wake the dead, and I've got a Wagner header on order which shouldn't add much if any noise. Next up is probably a rollbar, seat and 5 -point harness and -0.5 degree camber all-around and I'm tempted to get RB lowering springs.

I think im going to get the header and exhaust back on soon, but right now I dont have the funds for a new obx.
