Seriously....congrats, enjoy, and break that thing in properly. I drove it yesterday and fell in love with the Turbo. I know 1st hand how hard it is to NOT go above 4000 rpms, but you gotta.

Couple coats of wax would be the 1st thing I'll be doing when I get mine. This time of the year around here.....not good for new cars without wax

Clay bar and Meguiars gold class wax is a good combination. I've used Meguiars' 3-step cleaner/polish/wax, it works well but is very time consuming. Only about $25 for all three, though.

I'm not a "wax expert" but her ya go...

Zaino is the best, but your looking WAY into the 3 digits for the whole kit. But enough layers of Zaino is supposed to be just as good as a whole new clear coat.....it's that damn good.

Mothers and Meguirs is good. I use the 3 step mothers process on my car. Prewax, glaze,and REAL carnuba wax ( not the synthetic stuff). Initially the mothers will cost you about 50 -70 bucks. But it lasts. You only need to prewax say once in the spring, and maybe near the end of summer. Although, I only use it in the spring :)

The sealer/glaze is about 10-15 bucks

The wax is about 25-30 bucks all Canadian of course.

Prewax was about 8-12 bucks. This is NOT the same as dish liquid as some fools will try to tell you. It basically strips the old wax, and grime, tar, oxidation etc or whatever off of car so a new fresh coat of wax can be put on.

I glaze and wax once a month by hand. The glaze gives it a nice wet look and seals fine scrathes or swirlies, and the wax seals it and protects it. Never JUST glaze, or the rain washes it off. One bottle of Glaze lasted me ALL last summer, and still have some left. Granted, our summer is April To Sept, although I keep waxing up to beginning of Nov. The carnumba wax doesn't last as long eithier. I also used it on my wheels. I'm not sure of the finish on your racing harts.....so I'm not sure if you should do that. Pretty safe with real carnuba waxes on wheels....just don't use some synthetic fake crap on them or you'll eat the finish right off. I wax my wheels to keep them from pitting, and little rocks from chipping them. Also makes them very easy to clean. If your wheels are the same type of finish as mine they are REALLY easy to scratch....only use the softest mits or cloths to was them with. And make sure your mit is SOAKED before putting it to the wheel.

I also use Meguirs scratch remover on any small scrathes on car (I have like 3 scatches on it so far...I'm lucky...knock on wood) Follow this stuff with wax as well or it too washes off quickly.

I use Mothers because it's easy to get where I live, and it's not supper $$$$. If money was no object, and I had a heated garage, I'd use Zaino. You REALLY need a garage to let car sit over night with Zaino products.

Oh, and for GODS SAKES DON'T I REPEAT DON't USE DISH LIQUID TO WASH CAR!!!! I mean, how stun can someone be.

Go buy REAL car wash....it's cheap. 5 bucks, and you'll get like 2L of it.

Limited Edition - newf and AutoXer speak some good advice. Zaino is impossible to find here (although some people have said you can find it in speciality shops, I've yet to find the shops that sell it...) but it can be ordered from the U.S. Of course, with the exhange and all that it will be big $$.
Like it was said above, Mothers and Meguires both make good stuff, not as good as Zaino (but close) for a fraction of the price.
Some people like Turtle Wax, I don't, but I wouldn't "not recommend" it. Don't use RainX, its not worth the savings.

RainX? Is this the same RainX that is applied to the windshield(s)? I use that stuff, and it works great. Rain water sheets off faster than it can fall, and the wipers barely have to do any work. Excellent, although it does need re-applying every couple months.

It also works well in the winter to keep snow from sticking to the windshield, which is always nice.

The RainX stuff for the windshield is great! But I was referring to the car wax they sell too - it is subpar. Not the worst stuff to use, but not the best either, and it only saves you $1-2 over Meguires and Mother's. Never tried their car wash stuff though, which they also sell.

Dafababa - I used to be a fan of Armor All on the dash and interior plastics, but not so much anymore. On my current car, the dash material is a shiney dark grey, and cleaning it with Armor All would make it too glossy - I'd get all kind of refections from the dashboard on sunny days! Very distracting. It would also tend to gas out too - I'd get this fog-like covering on the inside of my windows, which was hard to clear off. It went away when I stopped using Armor All so much. Use it sparingly, I guess thats the moral of the story. I've never tried Armor All's low gloss formula though, which comes with a grey label instead of a black label - that might be better.
I've also tried a product that came in a green bottle (from Turtle Wax?) that worked about the same, plus had a built-in UV protector. Don't remember if it gassed out as badly.
Finally, I tried another product that came in a yellow bottle (I think it was from STP) that worked pretty good too, on par with the other two mentioned above.

My conclusion is to get a product that cleans the interior vinyl and plastics rather than makes them shiney. That is more difficult to find than it sounds.

Now, for cleaning interior carpets, the best products I've used come from Bissell. It comes in a black aerosal bottle with a brush built in at the top, and when you squirt it out it turns to foam when it hits the air. Then you work in the foam with the brush. That stuff will take out any stain! They also make a liquid form of the stuff that comes in a squirt bottle (clear filled with redish liquid). When I bought my last car, the previous guy had been a smoker, and the headliner was brown instead of light grey. 45 minutes later with this stuff and it was back as good as new, and the smell was even gone! Amazing! You can find both products at Canadian Tire in the Automotive dep't (and I'm sure at Pep Boys and all that for our friends south of the border).

RainX is good for the windshield. First time I ever seen it work i was like .... WOW. My woman thought I was loosing my mind with me freaking out over how the the rain was hitting the windsheild. :)

Stuff is only good though if you drive around 100kph or 60 mph. Say on freeways or highways a lot. You really need to be moving to get the full effect I find. The wind helps blow it off better.

As for the inside, this is a controversial topic. Some say stay away from Armour all as it eats through your dash and leather. While I have never seen it eat a dash, and I've used it for at least 15 yrs, I still wouldn't use it on leather things like the shifter sleave or something. MOthers makes a back to black polish for the dash that is decent, and it won't harm anything. Personally, I don't like to use any of this stuff inside the car too much, and only do it once every now and then, say every 6-8 weeks just to get the shine back to everything. Otherwise, I'm just using a rag and hot water.

If you ever get something really bad on the paint.....say an egg, bird shit dried up or something, clay bars are the best for this kinda stuff. I pitty anyone that gets an egg dried on the car, it will take the paint straight off with it if you leave it long enough in the sun.

Bugs and Tar are my biggest problem here. So, bug and tar remover I also buy to use on bad spots. It's cheap, easy to use so why not.

I can't remember the name of the stuff I used to use on the muffler....... I'm going brain dead.

Meguirs Tire Gell is great for the tires. It lasts a lot longer then regular tire foam, and it doesn't get black soot all over the place. One bottle seems to last a long time, not like tire foam which last a month. This stuff is pricey, but it does last longer.

I use Armorall Low-gloss, and it works well. I hate their regular stuff, it's way to glossy/greasy. I armorall once a year, and the rest of the time I just wipe the interior plastics with a damp cloth.

For leather, such as the steering wheel or shift knob, I use a leather and vinyl cleaner from my furniture store. It cleans the leather well, making it nice and grippy. (NOT sticky) I don't think the exact product I use is available nation-wide, but I'm sure there are many other brands that have similar products.

On a related note, never ever use Armor All on tires. I have seen first hand how it can eat thru tires, so eating thru a dash is believable.
In fact, I've had to deny warranties on tires where Armor All has been used on the sidewalls. Just softens them to ruin.

There's a black one at Nucar Mazda in Delaware. It's in the showroom. I sat in in and checked it out today. Very nice. It's sold and just waiting for the owner to pick it up.

I live in Simsbury which isnt too far....my job is sending me, without my car, to atlanta until feb 19th...so when I get back we can hook up in hartford or something.. I stopped by morande to pick up my car cover today and they had another black one there. It was outside in front of the dealership covered in snow. Not sure when they got it.

When I picked up my car they told me that they put the MSP inside the service department at night so nobody can steal the wheels and radio...They have an area behind the showroom but before the service department where they said they are going to display the MSP. There is a MSP floor and display....Its kinda werid because if you don't know the car is there you can miss it from the big showroom area.

just a regular protege car cover. They gave it to me for free so I'm not going to complain.
