Just hate birds. Washed/waxed my pro yesterday....come out to smoke a cigg 5 minutes ago, and what do I see? half of the roof has like 3 bird bombs, haha along with rear window. I guess when my car is clean sun reflects sunlight so much that passing by birds get the glare and from being scared of not seeing anything, their defence mechanism is kicking in hahahaha and bombs awaaaay !!! haha

haha I hear ya (black car too), I try to clean mine up every weekend and I usually get bird shit on it by tuesday. Plus there's a lot of dust at work, so my car is coated with dust by monday anyway. Ah well.

Also Dis, your car is awesome. I just like the way it all goes together. Any future mods planned?

keep a spray bottle of water & QEW in the car and a couple MF towels.
That's all I need to get rid of bug guts and bird shit. It's $0.50/bottle versus the $10 for QD

Thanks mang! Greatly appreciated! As far as future mods....i already invested almost 1400 bucks in my custom turbo project, just the only problem right now, is that I received few unexpected bills (my father who doesnt live with us anymore, just refused to pay for my Pro, so I took over the payments.....extra 226 bucks each month outta my pocket) well thats a good thing, because now my dad cant bitch about my mods since Im paying for the car.

ouch, that's rough. Yeah, I'm still paying off my car too and the first words out of my mother's mouth were 'no modifications to this car until it's paid off' lolz. So far I've just painted a few things and have a set of new wheels on the way, so I'm working around that.

just don't tell the parents and you're good to go. LOL. Parents recently found out about my B&M SS but still don't know about my OBX header (installing on tuesday) and my injen intake. Springs, neighbor kinda ratted me out.

well this is going to be kinda funny, because what do you think they will say, when Ill slap my turbo on my pro, (rofl). Plus now I dont really care because Im paying for my Pro AND Im paying my own insurance. Plus ever since my dad gave me the payments book for the car, he stopped saying shit about my mods, haha. My mother although along with my sister are incouraging the mods, lol!

lolz, Your neighbor ratted you out? I was thinking since I should get my new wheels today I should get some springs as well. that way when it comes home and it's sitting lower I can just be like 'Yeah, the new wheels give it a more agressive stance, pretty niffty eh?'

What springs & how much of a drop do you have Dis?

DiS

I got Tein S-tech springs its a 1.8 drop all around, two fingers barely fit between wheel and wheel well

Hrmm, I was thinking of something around 1.5.,

That much of a drop give you any problems at high speeds on the highway or during the winter?

Sorry for all the questions slash thread hijack

np mang. Actually at high speeds on highways its actually better to have a dropped car as your aerodynamics increase.....less air is traveling under your car as opposing to stock spring height. It actually feels that car starts to sit down a bit lower at high speeds....air over the car forces it closer to the ground, but you wont nottice it unless you go above 80 mph, hehe.

As far as winter.....Surprisingly I had NO trouble past winter what-so-ever. I was really shocked hehe, never got stuck, although thought couple of times that my car would be like a ricer honda snow plow, haha, which never happened.

What I like about these springs, is that they give an even drop in the front and in the back.

Ah cool, thanks for the info. Yeah my primary concern was snow, seeing as I live in central new york and we usually get blitzed. Actually a drop is looking more feasable as time goes by, maybe even by the end of the summer!
