This guy at my work is selling an S2000 engine for like 500$. Does anyone know if it would fit in a miata?

yes, it will fit. as a matter of fact, one of the tuner mags had a miata with the s2k motor in a recent issue. dont remember which one though.

a honda motor I actually have respect for. Definitely a good idea but why is he selling it so cheap.

And I saw that article with the s2000 motor in the red miata.
Very fast and tons of potential.

The article was in this months superstreet I belive. It was awesome. They had to cut the subframe to make it fit but it boosted the hp/lb ratio immensely. The guy that did the swap was thinking of marketing wiring kit to help with the swap.

For $500? I'd go out and buy the best Miata I could find with a busted motor for 1000 bucks and throw that puppy in. :D sweeeet.

500bux = stolen motor!!!!

Street price on the s2k motor is 4 to 5k.

fuck... stolen or not... just buy it, get a bill of sale from this guy for it making sure its documented that you PURCHASED it, drop it in a miata and fucking cruise.

Its either stolen or been abused to hell...

Nice, I don't know how he came up on it but he has no use for it. I don't have a miata but MPLVan is my step dad and he does. If he doesn't want it I will give you guys the info and see if one of you guys wants it.

Damn, I'll drive out there to get it for $500. You should buy it anyways, if you don't use it sell it for a profit.
