Yeah I have just purchased these light up door sills from ebay. Well, I was just wondering if someone knew the color of the wires for the interior light. I need these to come on just when the door opens and go off when the door closes. So if can one knows what they are can you please help me.

The door trigger wires you'll be looking for are:

Front Left: + / Black&Yellow / passenger kick panel
Front Right: + / Black&Blue / behind glove box in harness way back against the firewall
Rear Left: + / Black&Orange / passenger kick panel
Rear Right: + / Black&Green / passenger kick panel
Hatch: - / Black&Red / passenger kick panel

You can either have each door sill controlled seperately by each door, or the sill lights can come on when any door is open. To do the latter, I would suggest diode isolating each trigger wire and then hook that to a relay to control the door sills. You can use the hatch as a trigger too, but the polarity is different.

i found this walkthrough (http://**********************/index.php?topic=13813.0) to be fairly easy.. although for the 05s the wire colours have changed..

this way you tap in to one spot and get all 4 sills to light up when a door opens (dome light comes on)
