At first it started with my 2nd gear being a little tough to get into, but now everytime i shift to 3rd at higher RPM's it grinds a little bit. Is my tranny dying? What should I do?

you guys suck...
Mine does that too... it grind 3rd every time if you try to shift reasonably quickly.. (yes, I'm a good driver) and occaisionally pops out of gear....

Sounds more like linkage to me than a transmission failure...

same problem here, got it fixed twice, the district rep is taking a look at my car on the 6th. before they will fix it the third time. also my third head unit.
it is your sychronisers(spell check) it takes about 2 days for them to fix it, but a while for them to get the parts.

Mine did the same shit with the grinding 3rd and the tough 2nd gear. And now my car is stuck in 4th gear and I have no car after last night. WTF!?!?

Has anyone experienced grinding when downshifting from 5th to 4th. I know that my old 89 626 had a stop that would not let you go to R from anywhere other than neutral. It also grinds some times when shifting in R from a standstill. I can feather the clutch to get it to engage, but is this normal?

I started to get the same thing, but now it doesn't grind now that I changed to the Redline Superlightweight Shockproof Tranny fluid. I don't nail in the gear anymore either.
