newbie to the forum

Hey Everyone, just wanted to drop a line to all of you mazdaspeed tuners. I just joined the forum and drive a 2003 black mspeed protege (calling for the line # tomorrow). I've put a perrin SRI on and it sounds nice...but there is a little hesitation when stomping the pedal...I heard that Mazda offers a PCM to fix the hesitation problem, but it advances the timing which is bad news for someone putting on a boost controller (for instance the turboxs one sitting in my garage). Does anyone know if the problem will persist, or worsen, with the addition of the MBC or other mods?? (confused)

The PCM was released with the intent of fixing the hesitaion, there have been mixed results. Look into DSM's AFC or some of the other EMS solutions around, they will get rid of the hesitaion. :)
