I just bought a msp tranny for my 2.0 5sp Mazda mx6. I know it will bolt up fine (er well im 99% sure) and i just need to figure out the electronics part of swapping them. As for the speed sensor...ive read a lot about how since the msp has abs there is no speedo gear on the lsd. My mx6 however does not have abs and therefore needs this gear system to be in place in the new tranny. i know its possible to put the pink speedo ring on the lsd but what about the white gear that the pink one connects to? any help is much appreciated, thanks, Rory

sorry the speed sensor is in the abs system of the msp !good luck!

the other option is open the transm and put the ring gear in the Mspeed diferential and install the normal speed sensor of the regular protege

if the trans is the firts generation the stock LSD diff is a crap is better purchase the revised diferential and changed.

install the normal speed sensor of the regular protege

thats exactly what I want to do. I just need to know if the msp tranny case has a spot for it.
