They mazdaspeed is a turbo MP3 with a thicker front sway bar, slightly different audio package and different color.

Don't forget the LSD, Bigger Brakes, ABS, Cruise?(I think), Different Racing Harts.
The audio package in the MSP should be atleast 3 times better than the MP3's. I like the subwoofer's placement better anyway plus it has more watts.

there's more goodies..as mentioned.
Sparco shift knob, Sparco Alumium Pedals, Leather wrap steering wheel w/orange stiching(does the MP3 have this?). Orange stiching on the seats as well.
What else am i forgetting?
there's more to it...

There is no blue Mazdaspeed.
Mazdaspeed = Orange or Black (in USA only) for now. Then Gray or Yellow next Spring.
MP3 = Blue or Yellow (in USA only)
So if you want blue you will have to run to a paint shop after you get the car :D
Wings West has a bodykit for the MP3 which should fit the same on the current Mazdaspeed.

it has the "wings" of the side of the bumper. incase you wanted to fly away.

LOL!
awesome.
Limited Edition, the MP3 has a Nardi 3-spokes leather steering wheel, Mazdaspeed lightweight aluminium foot pedal and special seat trim.
Same steering wheels in both cars. One has grey or silver stiching, the other has orange. Personally, the silver looks better. The MP3 has a nardi label on it...the MSP does not.
Seats are the same in both cars as well, but again, the color pattern in a little different in the MSP with more silver inserts, and orange stiching.
As for the Stereo....I heard the MSP's, and I like the MP3 a lot better. Going up to see car again today to make a final decision on the stereo though.
There is NO cruise in the speed, although an alarm is standard.
The sub in the speed is only an 8" vs the mp3's 10", although it is more powerful...."supposively" but from what I heard, the mp3 is better....again I'm going to see it again today.
The body kit from wings west is ugly, or at least some aspects of it are. If put that ugly wing on that nice car I'll hunt you down and kill you :)
Since the car is already pretty, spend money on other things.
Welcome aboard btw.

The front sway bar on the MSP is the same size as the MP3. (25MM) They only changed the bushings from rubber to some kind of polyurathane. At least according to my brochure from the dealer.:D
I could have sworn I read somewhere that the MSP had 27mm in front vs the mp3 25mm. I can't seem to find it anywhere now though.

I wonder why they didn't out the 'Nardi' emblem on the steering wheel?
Are all Nardi Steering wheels made in Italy?
This Steering wheel feels really nice i must add. It's a nice small size perfect for your hands to be placed at 9 & 3 positions while turning down a winding road.:D
