welcome, did you get the wiring charts I sent yah?
Tampasport20! Congrats mang! Definetly good to know that we got such a mod that knows few things about few generations of Protege's
Tampasport20 likes to reveal who he is, hehe and I guess I wanted to keep it quiet about myself but oh well, heh, I have recently become a moderator of 3rd generation forums section along with Tampasport20. Name's Dennis, and my baby is in my sig, heh. Anyhow just like Mike said, if anyone has some questions, let us know, and as far as being rude to others.....we are not going to tolerate that!(poke)

i will welcome our clean mouthed overlords.
kinda off topic, but not really, what's with all the subforums now? everyone has their own subforum. too many places to get a thread lost, i say.

true, but since i have a p5, which is technically a 3rd gen, where do i post appearance stuff? in the 3rd gen appearance or in the tech-appearance or does it even matter anymore.
if they're cleaning this up, then the whole tech section needs to be consolidated into it's proper model specific subforums, and the protege5, mp3, and msp should go into the 3rd gen section, with their sub-foums as well.

nowhere. you have a p5 section. this is for 3rd gens, i.e. non mp3/msp/p5
mountjonas

that's fine. then i'll ask the mods to create more p5 subforums. cheers!

trust me, i'm not jealous. i think sub forums are a great idea, but these are getting out of hand. and yes, my p5 is a 3rd gen.

but you sure do sound bitter for some reason. maybe it's just the interweb. Yes I know you have a 3rd gen but if you look after it says 3rd gen, in parenthesis it has protegepower.com, which if you do a search, was started for the 3rd gen non-msp/mp3/p5. hopefully that clears it up a little more.

i've learned to ignore the perceived tone in text.
i never did the research. all i saw was 3rd gen, which says 1999+protege models, which the p5 falls under. i honestly am not bitter. i like reading a lot of the threads so i just find it hard scrolling through all the subforums to conducting a specific search.
(drinks)
i apologize for the threadjack.
yes, the 3rd gen section was made for 3rd gen Sedans DX/LX/ES, just to keep things organized, hehe
