OK, Im just kinda curious how big Im getting screwed compared to everyone else.
I pay $264 a month for my car. I'm 22yo and have one accident, and two tickets on my record. They get cleared in June and October next year, so then I'll be good to go.

hey note your situation.... tickets, accidents, on parents insurance, age, etc...

well mine is really cheap for some reason like 60 bucks a month I'm 20 years old,I have no accidents but I am on my parents Insurance and the Insurance company made an error and they think i'm 30. I figure there mistake I dont need to tell them.

And it's good to i guess. When that crazy dude keyed my car I had a cracked windshield too, They let me put them on the same claim and it was $100 to get both of them fixed.

I pay $116 (American) a month. I'm an 18 year old college student w/ 2 tickets, but the insurance doesn't know that, hehe, and i'm registered to my dad's Mazda B2300 pickup, and him to my Protege5. :D

Dude, you're getting screwed...

I pay $128 for full coverage on a '00 Corvette and liability on an '86 AE86.
1 accident, 25 YO.

keep in mind you're 25, so you're gonna be lower, also location does matter a great deal. And the accident only is on your record if it's within 3 years.

Speaking of location, don't ever come to New Jersey. I'm 24, one ticket for doing 64 in a 55 (just got wiped from record) and the best price from three different insurance companies was $4,000/yr for full coverage.

It's next to impossible to get insurance here, but it's supposedly going to drop to $1,800/yr in february when I'll be 25 and have both a homeowners policy and a simple IRA with the company...BIG difference!

im in Connecticut

got a price for insurance on my MSP which i am expecting soon (right...)

they couldnt insure it as a MSP so he priced it as the most expensive protege, which was the p5 not the ES......and my rate came out to 981/6 months with progressive. Second closest rate was 1700/6 mo and then 2500/6 mo

22 years old
clean record

he said if i had any tickets or anything, i would likely be uninsurable on a new car

I got all you guys beat.....my first year on my mp3 was a little over 9000 for the year...that works out to about 750 a month. I am 19, no tickets or wrecks, not even a warning and I hold an international driving license and a 3.0 GPA. It was the only insurance I could get.
Cheers,
Moose

Oh sweet Jesus! At that rate, I'd buy a bus pass and a bicycle. That's absolutely RIDICULOUS.

I agree that age matters, but mine only fell like $20/mo when I turned 25...

Just less than $100 a month for the P5 with max full coverage - $100 deductable. I also have an old GMC Jimmy that 's about $200 a year. I am 35 single with one ticket. Multi car discount. I live in Atlanta so it's a little higher here than if I lived somewhere else.

Funwagaon - how the hell do you get those two cars full coverage for $527 a year?!! That is amazing.
