Clear corner lenses in head lights...

Dont know if someone already posted a thread for this but I was curious.
I want to replace the amber color lenses in my head lamps. Is there a part for this or do they simply come out. I have hear both so Im confused ofcourse...

If there is already a thread for this can someone point it out for me...This site is so active:)

if you really want, just go to a junkyard and get some protege5 headlights and wire em in.

the other option is opening the headlight and removing the amber piece. i have no clue how to do this, so just do a search and i think theres some threads about it.

thanks, I think the junk yard thing would be easier for me....I have a tendency to breakthings!;)

You have to take the lenses out......heat them up around the edges with a heat gun, pry them open (which is not hard, takes about a good 7-8 mins) remove the amber piece, which will leave you with a circular opening where the white bulb will shine through. Then put marine grade silicone around the edges of the housing, then reseal it. Presto!
